Volunteering and Internships
FÖJ/BFD
Every year, the Botanical Garden of TU Dresden offers a place for the Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ)/Federal Voluntary Service. Volunteers are involved in the day-to-day work at the Botanical Garden in a variety of ways. They help with plant cultivation and care and learn about horticultural tasks and global plant diversity.
Educational work can also be an important field of work: If interested, volunteers can, for example, lead groups of children through the garden independently after appropriate training and support the garden staff in the preparation and implementation of the working group "Children leading children".
SUA gGmbH is the organization responsible for the Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ) and the Federal Ecological Voluntary Service (ÖBFD). Here you can find more information about the process, framework conditions and how to apply. (more information)
The Botanical Garden of TU Dresden is certified by the agency for quality in volunteer service "Quifd" via SUA gGmbH.
