Projects
All projects within the context of the research training group consider topics in engineering science as well as social science, which can be allocated to the field of “sustainable energy systems”. In coordination with the board of the Friedrich und Elisabeth Boysen-Stiftung (engl. Friedrich and Elisabeth Boysen-Foundation), six doctoral students which do research on topics referring primarily to engineering science (P1-P6) are funded by this Foundation. Additionally four more doctoral students from the field of social science are funded by the TU Dresden (P7-P10):
P1: Upgrading Biogas to Biomethane Using Absorption
P2: Hydrogen as Energy Vector – Efficiency and Sustainability of Hydrogen-Based Energy Storage Pathways
P3: Development of a Thermoacoustic Electric Generator for Exhaust Heat Recovery
P4: Limitations and Risks of Energy Systems to Ensure a Competitive and Low CO2 Supply of Electricity in Germany
P5: Technological Evaluation of Energy Transmission Systems for an Increased Use of Renewable Energies
P6: Energy Scenario Assessment – Potentials, Limitations and Acceptance
P7: Sustainability Assessment of Energy Technologies
P8: Communication Strategies for Sustainable Energy Systems – Higher Acceptance for Hydrogen & Offshore-Wind
P9: Political Parties and the Implementation of Sustainable Energy Systems
P10: Knowledge, Attitudes and Behavioral Dispositions toward Sustainable Energies and Energy Infrastructure
