Cross-building transformation processes at the neighborhood and city level form a pillar of the energy transition. In the city of Dresden, the TU Dresden campus has a special position due to its central location, size and the high number of people involved. The approx. 8,300 employees and 36,000 students determine a considerable part of the urban energy and traffic volume. The project CAMPER-MOVE addresses the challenges that arise in the course of the required transformation processes for the campus of the TU Dresden. It builds on the project CAMPER (funded by BMWi, FKZ 03ET1319A, duration 10/2015 - 03/2019), in which an energy and GHG development plan was created on the basis of an in-depth energy analysis and supported with concrete measures. In CAMPER-MOVE, practical implementations are to be supported by scientific monitoring and optimization and evaluated with regard to effect and practicality. The experience gained will be incorporated into further conceptual considerations. "MOVE" symbolizes the transformation process towards an energy efficiency campus, which is driven forward by scientific support.
