Criteria for the outgoing selection procedure
Basic criteria
- participating students must be nationals of an EU/EFTA member state (nationals of other states, only on condition that they have their permanent residence in the participating state from which they wish to go abroad as part of Erasmus+);
- participating students must be regularly enrolled in a degree programme at TU Dresden;
- participating students in undergraduate degree programmes must have completed at least the first year of study;
- there must be a valid bilateral cooperation agreement for the relevant subject area for the relevant academic year;
- the period of study completed at the host university must last at least three months (max. 12 months of funding per study phase, multiple funding possible) and
- a study programme (learning agreement) must be agreed between the partner universities and the students before the start of the stay abroad.
Ranking criteria
If there are more applicants than the number of places contractually agreed between the universities, the following criteria will determine the allocation of places:
- higher academic year/semester,
- good/better language skills for the host country,
- planned length of stay (preferably two semesters),
- better performance in previous studies and
- own study programme for the stay abroad as well as prior consultation with professors of the institute regarding the recognition of academic achievements abroad.
Exclusion criteria
You cannot be considered for the allocation of exchange places if you
- have already utilised the maximum number of months of funding in the current study phase or
- failures in your previous studies jeopardise the successful completion of your studies at TU Dresden.
