Chronology of Model Project Smart City Dresden

Phase I (Jan 2022-Jun 2023): Smart City Strategy 

WISSENSARCHITEKTUR created the "Strategy Development" sub-project in the first phase of the Smart City Dresden model project. Based on a combination of methods from design thinking, workshops and participation formats, the team worked with the cooperation partners to develop a vision, topics and fields of action for strategic digitalisation.

Phase 2 (Juli 2023-Dezember 2026): Implementation

In the implementation phase the smart city measures are tested. WISSENSARCHITEKTUR will evaluate the project and ensure the sythesis and transfer of the models. The group will use participation formats ("smart participation”) to gather and evaluate feedback from civil society, politics, business and science. Workshop formats and networking with the national and international smart city community will result in expertise at the cutting edge of research flowing into the project.
