Bauko lecture honored as e-learning gem 2024

Almost 1200 members of TU Dresden took part in the vote and chose Iris Vogt's e-learning gem. We are delighted to have won the prize in the category 'Courses with 31 to 100 students'.

The award-winning course 'Structural Design of Existing Buildings' is one of the compulsory modules on the Civil Engineering course. In addition to direct students, several distance learning students also take part. To address the different needs of the diverse student body, a variety of teaching formats and learning materials, including digital ones, are created. Among other things, another OPAL course 'Level-Up Bauko' was developed, which is based on a gamified approach.

The award ceremony took place on Friday, 31.01.2025, where the winners of the three categories were honored. Congratulations to Prof. h.c. Dr. Verena Barth and Dr. Ken Marvin Verhees and many thanks to all participants for your vote.
