Online Seminar instead of excursion

The Institute of Building Construction planned an excursion for students of the curses Structural Use of Glass, Glass Façades and Building Envelopes for April 2020. The visit of various interesting projects and companies in the area of southern Germany, including the seele group in Gersthofen, were prepared.

Due to cancellation of the excursion because of Covid19, Ms Sonntag (Structural Engineer at seele) presented exciting R&D projects and their challenges in planning and application in an online seminar.

The Institute of Building Construction thanks for the presentation and is looking forward to next year's excursion with a planned visit at seele in Gersthofen.
