Ontological approach for LOD-sensitive BIM-data management

On 12^th October 2021, Mr. Janakiram Karlapudi, MSc, presented his scientific publication on “Ontological approach for LOD-sensitive BIM-data management” at the LDAC 2021 (Linked Data in Architecture and Construction) workshop, Belval, Luxembourg.

The publication proposes an approach for efficient representation of semantically rich BIM data in different levels through the formal definition of ontologies. The paper validates this approach based on the concept of competency questions and their respective SPARQL queries. With the demonstration and validation, the paper provides the conceptual proof for the practical application of the developed ontological approach.
