Ontology-based anamnesis and diagnosis of natural stone damage for retrofitting
On 11th October 2021, Dipl.-Ing. Al-Hakam Hamdan, presented the publication “Ontology-based anamnesis and diagnosis of natural stone damage for retrofitting” at the LDAC 2021 (Linked Data in Architecture and Construction) workshop, Belval, Luxembourg.
The publication proposes a methodology for utilizing web ontologies to store building and structural damage information in a semantic representation and processes them in an automated damage assessment via predefined rulesets. Within this publication, a proof of concept is developed and applied for structures made of natural stone as well as specifically tested and verified on the common case of a damaged façade.
