Baunetz Campus reports on "Sustainable Learning" seminar

An article about the innovative seminar "Sustainable Learning by Collaborative Building" has been publishedin the online magazine Baunetz Campus.

Initiated by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Engelmann and Dipl.-Ing. Laura Oberender from the Institute of Building Construction (TU Dresden), the seminar is an innovative offer for the challenging start to studies in Civil Engineering. Designed as a mentoring project, it is intended to make it easier for students to start their studies. It is aimed at students who have to take a second exam in the Building Construction module or are thinking about dropping out of their studies. The focus is on building together, accompanied by experienced fellow students, in order to gain professional confidence and at the same time deepen their knowledge of sustainable construction.

The article clearly shows how the seminar promotes motivation, provides professional confidence and empowers female students in particular.

The project is co-funded by the European Union and co-financed by tax revenue on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon state parliament .
