"Water will take us" - environmental film series focuses on water and climate change
"Water will take us" - in a joint event within the Environmental Film Series at TU Dresden, the Student Environmental Initiative (tuuwi), and the Global Water and Climate Adaptation Centre (ABCD-Centre) organized a screening of the documentary by award-winning environmental filmmaker Mohammad Ehsani, followed by a panel discussion about the catastrophic flood events in Iran in 2019 with the producer Dr. Sudeh Dehnavi (Institute for Technology and Resources Management in the Tropics and Subtropics, TH Köln) and water experts of TU Dresden:
- Prof. Jürgen Stamm (Speaker of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Chair of Hydraulic Engineering, and ABCD-Centre project leader)
- Prof. Peter Krebs (Director of the Institute of Urban and Industrial Water Management and Chair of Urban Water Management)
- Dr. Firas Aljanabi (ABCD-Centre project coordinator)
- Ms. Dominique Schmachtel (co-founder NGO Solutions for Water Integrity and Management (SWIM) and course coordinator at CIPSEM)
- Dr. André Lindner (Managing Director and Advisor for Internationalisation of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering) - moderator
