Abstract:
This diploma thesis analyzes the fundamentals of digital additive manufacturing processes and their approval. The main focus is on the extrusion-based CONPrint 3D printing process of the TU Dresden. This is followed by an overview of the theoretical principles of building authority approval for concrete 3D printing.
will be presented. In addition to the general building approval (abZ) of the printing mortar, the innovative construction method, the layer-by-layer extrusion of the printing mortar, is also subject to regulation and requires a general building approval (abG). A guideline is being developed to effect an abZ/abG for the CONPrint 3D printing process. In order to obtain this approval, the subject of the application is first defined: non-load-bearing, non-reinforced interior walls. Subsequently, tests that are necessary for the approval procedure are defined on the basis of the application object of the model administrative regulation Technical Building Regulations. These are classified into the following categories. Mechanical strength and stability, fire protection, hygiene, health and environmental protection, sound insulation. In addition, data collection and quality control as well as training of personnel are necessary for the planned approval. Liability risks in the use of innovative building products for the designer, the contractor and the manufacturer of building products are analyzed. During the bidding process, it is necessary to verify that the contractor's bids meet the advertised product requirements. The contractor, regardless of the tender, must install suitable construction products and prove it. The manufacturers of construction products are obliged to produce suitable construction products.
