Researchers of the IDA-KI project meet in Dresden
In the IDA-KI project, algorithms are being developed for automated evaluation and assessment of monitoring data, which can be validated using a real research bridge. This is to be erected on the company premises of Hentschke Bau in Bautzen and will be available for the planned load tests from mid-2023.
On Friday, July 15, 2022, the first major project meeting within the framework of the research project took place at the Institute of Solid Structures. In the morning, the results of the individual work packages were presented and discussed in the consortium. How can a digital twin for bridges be realized and how can anomalies in monitoring data be detected automatically? Another focus was on the conceptual design of the demonstrator structure, which will be available to scientists worldwide as a real laboratory even after the end of the project. After the lunch break, we continued with a tour of the new semiconductor plant of Bosch, of which a digital twin was also developed.
The staff of the institute would like to thank the project partners MKP, Hentschke Bau as well as the TU Hamburg for the intensive exchange and the nice personal conversations.
The project with a total volume of € 3.85 million is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport (BMDV) within the research initiative mFUND. Further information can be found in the project profile:
