The Faculty of Civil Engineering at TU Dresden (Institute of Concrete Structures) is seeking to fill a fixed-term W2 professorship (5 years) as soon as possible.
The Chair, endowed by PD- Berater der öffentlichen Hand GmbH and now to be filled, combines research, teaching and practice in the field of climate-neutral construction.

Your perspectives

• Research: Interdisciplinary research in the fields of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Business Administration and Economics
• Practice: Direct application of research results in PD practice projects
• Teaching: Reduced teaching obligation to 2 course hours, especially in the Civil Engineering diploma and distance learning programs as well as in the English-language ACCESS Master's program
• Infrastructure: shared use of the excellently equipped Otto Mohr Laboratory

Your qualifications

• Excellent aptitude in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management or Architecture
• Specialization in at least one area: circular use of materials, innovation-friendly procurement processes or digitalization/automation in the construction industry
• Scientific excellence, proven by: Publications, third-party funding from DFG/BMBF/EU and teaching experience
• Fluency in German and English
