Short introduction

The aim of the sub-project is to develop an approach to bring about a paradigm shift through a new technology in the construction industry with the aim of strengthening the innovative power of the construction industry and also to provide the construction industry with answers for future challenges, such as the important recruitment of skilled workers, education and training, automation, digital processes. After the comprehensive gain in results and knowledge from over 60 joint projects or 300 sub-projects of the C³ project, it is necessary to use this generated knowledge in the sense of the strategy of the C³ project. The Institute for Concrete Structures of the TU Dresden (applicant) is to act as the central contact and coordinator for the consolidation of content, the results-oriented processing and the application-oriented transfer.

The main objectives of the present sub-project are:

  • Creation of a methodology for the processing of results and structured consolidation of content into usable knowledge,
  • Concept for target group-oriented processing and possible selection of the merged contents for thematic sensitisation of the various target groups envisaged,
  • Development of a new concept for knowledge transfer in the building industry,
  • Implementation of knowledge and technology transfer using the example of the new technology carbon reinforced concrete and measurement of success.
