C³ - Carbon Concrete Composite
Currently the project C³ – Carbon Concrete Composite is the largest research programme in the field of building constructions within Germany. Aim of the programme is to replace the traditional steel reinforced concrete (RC) as building material by carbon reinforced concrete which shows several advantages compared to RC: it is lighter, more flexible and more efficient and there is no risk of corrosion.
