A07 - Interaction between the road construction and the subsoil

TP A07 is focused on the investigation of a state- and direction-dependent stiffness of the subsoil and accumulation processes of irreversible deformations resulting from the traffic load and the climatic changes. A suitable constitutive model with corresponding state variables of the subsoil will be defined and linked with the structural model of the road (TP A01, B04). In case of progressive deformation or softening of the subsoil, warning states can be activated and countermeasures can be initiated.
