Spotlight on "Writing in Teaching" on September 26th, 2023
The ability to work scientifically is a basic goal of a degree, but also a promise that universities make to prospective students, students, or future employers. The ability to write scientifically is often addressed in introductory events in the first semester, and the curriculum does not always plan such an event. What happens in the period between the first semester and the thesis?
We would like to address this question together with you on September 26th, 2023 in the form of a spotlight day. In 30- and 45-minute inputs, exchanges, and question-and-answer sessions, you will receive ideas on the possibilities of integrating scientific writing into your own teaching either continuously or selectively. Lecturers at the TU Dresden will report on their own teaching concepts and experiences in peer exchange groups.
The target group is teachers (including student teachers) and interested parties from all status groups and disciplines at TU Dresden. A focus of the examples and lectures will be events in the humanities, social sciences, and economics.
