Her*Camp: A week full of science!

Das Her*(bst)camp zu Besuch in der Energiefabrik Knappenrode.
The energy factory Knappenrode welcomed the participants of the Her*Camp (17.10.-22.10.22 in Weißwasser) in Lusatia with sunshine and energy history.
In addition to a glimpse into the past, there was also a heated debate about the future in the sustainability workshop. The schoolgirls slipped into the roles of different actors and try to find compromises around the drinking water problem of a Bolivian village in the Andes. Hands were also put on in the laboratory and an organic photovoltaic cell was built. The 11 participants* were between 14 and 16 years old and attend high schools in the Dresden area and in Lusatia. Her motivation for dealing with sustainability during the autumn holidays ranges from general interest to the desire as a scientist to make the world a little better.
