German Multimedia Prize mb21
The German Multimedia Prize mb21 is the only national competition that honors the digital works and projects of children, adolescents, and young adults.
We are looking for multimedia products that have been created by students up to and including 25 years of age alone, in a team, or with the supervision of professors and lecturers. These include semester, bachelor, master, or other theses.
In teams, the average age of all people involved in the project counts (excluding supervising professors and lecturers). Apps, computer games or software, radio plays, and sound collages, robotics, websites or interactive installations, projections, and performances are just a few examples of projects that can be submitted to mb21 and awarded prizes.
Up to three projects from the years 2020-2022 can be submitted per submitter, institutions (e.g. submitted by professors) can even register up to five projects.
Participation in the competition is free of charge and offers students the opportunity to receive recognition for their work and, if nominated, to exhibit it and present it to the public at the final festival in Dresden. In the four age- and three special categories there are material and cash prizes with a total value of 11,000 euros. The closing date for entries is August 15, 2022.
Further information on the competition, the individual categories, and registration are available on the website www.mb21.de.
