From now on, nationwide students in their first or second semester can apply for a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation.

We are looking for young people who are characterized by high intellectual skills and motivation, social skills, communication skills as well as a broad spectrum of interests and social commitment. Due to the corona pandemic, applicants can also take the associated selection test digitally from home.

Scholarship holders receive a monthly study fee of 300 euros. Depending on the family's financial situation, a basic grant analogous to the applicable BAföG rates and, if necessary, allowances for health and long-term care insurance as well as family allowances are granted. The benefits do not have to be repaid. In addition to monthly financial support, the Studienstiftung offers a comprehensive educational program, grants for stays abroad worldwide, language courses, personal advice and a network of currently 14,800 scholarship holders and over 75,000 alumni.
