The Paris Climate Agreement has existed since 2015. The construction sector in particular is jointly responsible for a large number of harmful emissions, but the construction world is only reacting slowly.
In the next "Spannweiten" discussion on Wednesday (December 8th, 2021), the problem of the diffusion of responsibility in a climate emergency will be discussed. Together with Stephan Kühn (Mayor for Construction of the City of Dresden), Prof. Dorothea Becker (Architect and University Professor) and Elisabeth Broermann (Architects for Future), the questions will be examined: who has to take responsibility in the turnaround and how can one achieve it a higher priority of climate-friendly building? Furthermore, how can teaching be redesigned in a sustainable manner in the long term? And what are the next steps in the course of the Architects for Future petition in the German Bundestag? This event will also take place online. Following the panel discussion, there is an opportunity for further questions from the audience.
