Women Leading in Academia - program for female professors - application possible until July 14th
Program for female professors – applications are still possible until July 14th
Strengthening female professors in their leadership role – that is what the new Women Leading in Academia program aims to do. It is aimed at female professors at TU Dresden (W2, W3 and W1 in the advanced tenure-track process) who want to sharpen their skills and develop as managers. As a supplement to the management program of the Center for Continuing Education, this one-year program aims to bring female professors into close interdisciplinary networks and engage in an intensive exchange on the topic of leadership.
Here, not only formal learning plays an important role, but also informal learning - among each other through working together on a small scale and through networking with role models from science and society in fireside chats. 6 places are available per year.
The topic of effective leadership is highlighted for each participant in two workshops, an individual potential analysis, and 360-degree leadership feedback and deepened with individual coaching. Further workshops on communication, appearance, and networking in research and teaching complete the program.
Women Leading in Academia - program for female professors is funded by the Female Professors Program III of the federal and state governments. It is coordinated by the Diversity Management Department.
