The Expert Committee on Environmental Meteorology of the German Meteorological Society organizes the METTOOLS conference every three years. The next one, METTOOLS XII, will take place from 26 to 28 November 2024 in Dresden and is aimed at all those who are active in the field of environmental meteorology. METTOOLS XII will focus on environmental meteorological tools for transformation, the development of measurement and modeling methods, the production of prototype tools and the resulting application experiences. The conference builds a bridge between environmental meteorological research and practice. METTOOLS offers the opportunity for a broad exchange of ideas. The technical discussion will take place in three sessions and three panel discussions.

The conference will generally be held in German. However, contributions in English are welcome.
