Super Supervisor | Laureate 2023

Doctoral supervision? Excellent!

The Graduate Academy granted its Award for Excellence in Doctoral Supervision for the ^7th time. The TU Dresden is thus one of the first universities in Germany to establish such an award. The response from doctoral candidates and postdocs was as enthusiastic as in previous years.

We sincerely congratulate Professor Zech on this year's award, especially since he has been nominated several times for his exceptional supervision of doctoral candidates.

The prize is endowed with 3,000 euros, which will be dedicated to the support of early-career researchers.

Workshop | Doctoral Supervision

The Graduate Academy has been offering regular workshops on the topic of “Good Doctoral Supervision” since 2016.

The workshop is aimed at professors and TUD Young Investigators of all disciplines responsible for supervising doctoral candidates or those who aspire to do so.
