Prof. Dr. habil. Norbert Weber has held the chair since November 2005. Among his honorary posts, he was the Dean of Studies of the Department of Forest Sciences from December 2009 to January 2016 and three years Chairman of the German Forestry Faculty Association. He currently holds the position of chairman of the Department of Forest Sciences.
