Welcome to the website of the Examination Office of the Department of Forest Sciences
The Study Office for Civil and Environmental Engineering and the associated Examination Office for Forest Sciences will answer your questions about examinations.
- All basic information on examination matters (e.g. study regulations, examination regulations) can be found on the website of the Academic Office.
- Examination dates, registration and deregistration deadlines, forms etc. and contact details for the staff can be found on the website of the Examination Office for Forest Sciences.
For general subject-related questions about your studies, such as application or timetabling, please contact the academic advisors.

Module registration
The module registration for the summer semester always starts on the 2nd Monday in February at 6:00 p.m. and is then activated for 4 weeks. You must enroll for all modules that you want to take. Also for all compulsory modules. Registration is via Selma and is binding. Please note that you can only enroll for modules in the summer semester if you have already re-registered (possible from January 15).
The module registration for the winter semester always starts on the 1st Monday in August at 6:00 p.m. and is then activated for 4 weeks. You must enroll for all modules that you want to take. Also for all compulsory modules. Registration is via Selma and is binding. Please note that you can only enroll for modules in the winter semester if you have already re-registered (possible from July 15).

Hints for enrolled students
Because TU Dresden administration (e.g., the matriculation office) uses your official TU Dresden email address, you are requested to organize a forwarding of mails to your regularly used personal email address.
You can access your TU Dresden email address via a web browser. Here, every student has the possibility to redirect emails to any email address. You can find out how to do this on the website of the ZIH. You will find an instruction here.
