Visiting scientist from Azerbaijan

DendroLab welcomes the Azerbaijan guest scientist Farid Seyfullayev. During his 2-month research stay, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, Farid will study impacts of environmental change on oak forests in Azerbaijan using dedroecological -in particular wood anatomical- methods. As virtually no tree-ring based studies were done in Azerbaijan so far, Farid's research will provide important new insights. A warm welcome Farid!
