Excellent theses in the 2022/2023 academic year

Mr. Nicolas Seibel, graduate of the hydroscience bachelor program, is honored for his excellent Bachelor thesis. He wrote his thesis on "Identification of Flood Source Areas in the Forellenbach Catcment (Bavarian Forest National Park) using DOC and Potassium as Natural Tracers" at the chair of hydrology.

Mr. Florian Bucher, a graduate of the hydrology master’s program, is honored for his excellent master’s thesis. He wrote his thesis on "Quality Assurance in Conceptual Hydrologic Models: Developing functional validation tests for ensuring model quality and robustness" at the chair of hydrology.

After each completed academic year, the best theses of the chair of hydrology are recognized as “excellent theses”. The award consists of a certificate and a travel grant to a hydrological conference.
