Excellent master's theses in the 2019/2020 academic year
Ms. Tanja Morgenstern, graduate of the hydrology master’s program, is honored for her excellent master’s thesis. She wrote her thesis on "Flood forecasting in small-scale catchments with deep learning LSTM networks" at the chair of hydrology.
Ms. Alina Peesel, a graduate of the hydrology master’s program, is also honored for her excellent master’s thesis. She wrote her thesis on "Comparison of precipitation-runoff models from the MARRMoT Toolbox for the catchments of the Wairau River, New Zealand" at the chair of hydrology.
After each completed academic year, the best theses of the chair of hydrology are recognized as “excellent theses”. The award consists of a certificate and a travel grant to a hydrological conference.
