Abstract:
The replanning of the sewage and rain water disposal system in Brand-Erbisdorf causes changes of the flood regime of the Erbisdorfer Wasser resulting in changes of the flood threat to several areas of the town. The critical flood with 50 years recurrence interval is determined to analyse and quantify the flood regime of the Erbisdorfer Wasser. Therefore the inflow hydrographs resulting from surface runoff of each partial catchment area are calculated. Based on these inflow hydrographs the flood routing of the Erbisdorfer Wasser is carried out by using a hydrodynamic numerical river flow model.
