Elbe River Study Tour

The Elbe (Czech: Labe; German: Die Elbe; Low German: De Ilv) is one of the major rivers of Central Europe. It originates in the northwestern Czech Republic before traversing much of Germany and flowing into the Northern Sea. Its total length is listed 1,091 kilometers.

All phenomena associated with Flood Risk Management can be met on the length of the Elbe River.

The Study Tour will lead us from the Upper Elbe in the Czech Republic to Dresden, Magdeburg, through Northern German Plain down to Hamburg.
