A mini course on railway transport will be offered optionally to young researchers and other interested participants on April 1st, 2025.

Social Program

The conference is accompanied by a colorful social program.

Welcome reception

The event will kick off with a reception on Tuesday evening in the Dülfersaal of the Technische Universität Dresden with finger food and drinks. You can look forward to a relaxed evening with nice gatherings with new and familiar faces.

Kindly note that attendance to the welcome reception is included in the registration fee. You do, however, need to signup for it when registering to the conference.

Conference Dinner

The “Historische Güterboden” is a unique cultural monument and a multifunctional event location in Radebeul, not far from the city center of Dresden. With its impressive architecture and size, it is ideal for the gala dinner on the occasion of RailDresden.

How to get there: 

• from Dresden Central Station: use S-Bahn 1 (direction Meißen) to station Radebeul Ost (in 15 minutes) OR
• use tram 4 until Zinzendorfstraße

Kindly note that attendance to the conference dinner is not included in the registration fee. You do need to signup for it when registering to the conference. Costs: EUR 100,00 per person.
