Predictive charging function updates using digital twins as part of the cooperation with Porsche
Charging electric vehicles is not always optimal? As part of our cooperation with Porsche AG(link to video), we have been researching new approaches to improve electric charging processes in some cases.
Porsche AG loaned us a fully electric Porsche Taycan to mark the signing of the research framework agreement with TU Dresden on September 17, 2021(link to news). We were able to prototypically integrate the developed solutions into the test vehicle. Before returning the vehicle, we made a joint video to showcase predictive charging function updates using digital twins(link to video). Hopefully, the prototype technology(link to publication) will make its way from the innovative Porsche Taycan to series production and other vehicles in order to make e-mobility even more reliable and attractive in the future.
