Ardorf station
Adorf station is crossed by the double-track, electrified main line
(Eisenberg -) Zellwald - Klausenburg - Adorf - Waldhof (- Thalheim).
There is also a single-track, non-electrified line from Adorf station via Feldberg block station, the Grüntal junction and Dornbach station to Zellwald station.
The passing tracks (tracks 4 and 6) of Adorf station are arranged to the left in the direction of ascending kilometre markings.
The non-electrified track 8 is only directly accessible from the single-track line and from the double-track line from Zellwald. Two tracks are used for parking vehicles.
Operations are carried out using a GS II DR track diagram interlocking (relay interlocking).
Only the control desk of the original interlocking is still present. The function of the relays, which are otherwise housed in separate interlocking rooms, is reproduced by a PC to save space.
Main contents to be learned:
- Operation of a track diagram interlocking
- Train announcements on double-track lines
- Offering/accepting on the single-track line
- Carrying out train and shunting movements in compliance with the timetable for train reporting points as well as the coordination of shunting movements
- Timely disposition in case of delays as well as changes of track occupancy at short notice in case of delays in the operational procedure
