Md Ashraful Islam is a research associate at the Chair of Air Transport Technology and Logistics at Technische Universität Dresden since 2024. He is involved with Project AirMetro RTG 2947, working on Safe AAM Traffic: Safe design of landing sites for AAM aircraft (T3). His current focus is on Functional safety analysis for highly automated aircraft using data-driven and modelling approaches. He has experience working with traffic engineering, traffic control, traffic safety, urban mobility, artificial intelligence, data science., etc.
