CARES project successfully completed after 4 years

The CARES project was successfully completed after 4 years of intensive, international cooperation. It has demonstrated the usefulness of cross-road remote sensing, plume chasing and new point sampling techniques.

We will continue with analysing the sample data and recommend further Remote Sensing campaigns in collaboration with enforcement agencies e.g. to effectively filter out the most polluting vehicles.
