MOVEBIS

Movebis (lat. “you will move”) is one of our new projects, which we conduct in cooperation with the Chair of Computer Networks, the Climate Alliance and the Cyface GmbH. 

The project's goal is the implementation of a data collection process into the event STADTRADELN as well as an analysis of route data, compliant to privacy rights, and an automatic deduction of planning requirements for local authorities. Focus of our research is the processing of bicycle traffic mass data as well as the development and validation of analysis algorithms and the design of information and communication measures. In doing so, the project team mainly aims at contributing to the encouragement of an active mobility culture and hence, as the title “Movebis” suggests, moving people in the future.

The project is funded by the  Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) within the research initiative mFUND .
