Automobile Engineering at TU Dresden
The Chair of Automobile Engineering has been headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Günther Prokop since 2010. The chair is headquartered in the Jante Building. It is part of the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at TU Dresden. The faculty’s Mobility Magazine provides insights into current research projects, events and other topics related to mobility and transportation.
Since 2015, the Chair’s test benches have been consolidated at the Vehicle Technology Test Center (FVZ) on August-Bebel-Straße.
In its teaching and research , the Chair focuses on causal chains and development methods within the “driver-vehicle-environment” system.
