NAMA-Conference 2016 and Center for Performance Research in Sustainability Measurement and Assessment (PRISMA)

From October 5th to 7th, 2016, the Autumn Conference of the Scientific Commission on Sustainability Management (NAMA) of the Association of University Teachers for Business Management e. V. took place for the third time at the TU Dresden. Several research papers were presented under the general topic "SUSTAINABILITY MANAGEMENT AS INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH DISCIPLINE - Necessity, Limits and Challenges of Interdisciplinary Research". In addition to numerous other lectures, Mr Prof. Dr. Guenther and Stephan Fuhrmann presented their latest research results. The co-organizer of the meeting was Mr Dr. Endrikat.
Center Opening
The Interdisciplinary Center for Sustainability Assessment (PRISMA) Center for Sustainability Assessment (PRISMA) was established following the conference. Driven by the vision of "Measuring and Evaluating Sustainability", PRISMA is to be the competence center for the development of assessment approaches for economic, ecological and social sustainability at the TU Dresden. The newly founded center is based on a collaboration of several scientists from the TU Dresden and is supported by Prof. Dr. Guenther and his staff members.
