How is deforestation related to pandemics (like Corona)? Do bees produce more money than honey?
On April 17, 2023 at 7 p.m., PRISMA Salon will be held again for a first time in a while. Prof. Dr. Remmer Sassen, Chair of Business Administration esp. Environmental Management, will speak on the topic "Challenges of the Biodiversity Crisis for Business and Society" and provide answers to these questions. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for discussion and exchange over drinks and a light snack.
PRISMA members are cordially invited to attend. Also invited are interested employees and students of PRISMA members. A current list of members is available on the PRISMA website.

Information on Prof. Sassen
Prof. Dr. Remmer Sassen holds the professorship of Chair of Business Administration esp. Environmental Management at the International Institute (IHI) Zittau since October 2020. In addition, he represents the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Sustainability Management and Environmental Accounting of Prof. Dr. Edeltraud Günther of the Faculty of Business and Economics. He studied and graduated in Business Administration with a focus on law (Diplom) and Political Science/Economics (M.A.) and holds a Master's degree in Higher Education. He is a PRISMA member and also a member of, among others, the Wissenschaftlichen Kommission Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement (WK NAMA) and the Schmalenbach-Gesellschaft für Betriebswirtschaft e.V.
