Dr. Peter E. Harland ist seit 2020 externer Lehrbeauftragter am Lehrstuhl für Entrepreneurship & Innovation (LEI) der TUD und war von 2010 bis 2016 Stiftungs-Juniorprofessor für Innovationsmanagement und Entrepreneurship und Studiengangsleiter für den Masterstudiengang Projektmanagement am IHI Zittau der TU Dresden. Dr. Harland hat an der TU Darmstadt Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen mit der technischen Fachrichtung Elektrotechnik studiert. Anschließend hat er bei Prof. Dr. Günter Specht im Bereich Innovationsmanagement im Rahmen eines industriefinanzierten Projektes promoviert und war danach Postdoc an der TU München. Dr. Harland wurden zahlreiche Lehraufträge an der TU Dresden, TU Darmstadt, der TU München, der TU Liberec und der BA Mosbach erteilt. Er arbeitet seit über 20 Jahre als selbstständiger Unternehmensberater im Bereich Innovations- und Projektmanagement und war von 2016-2021 Senior Manager Innovation Management und Teamleiter in der Konzernstrategieabteilung der Jenoptik AG.
