The assignment of topics for seminar papers takes place during a kick-off event at the beginning of the respective semester. Prerequisites for receiving a topic at this date are a registration for the corresponding examination performance in HISQIS as well as a registration with a transcript of record in OPAL from 01.10.-15.10.2025. Attention: For the binding registration as well as the withdrawal from the examination performance in HISQIS, the faculty-wide deadline of 02.10. - 01.11. (winter term) or 02.04. - 30.04. (summer term) applies. After that a withdrawal is no longer possible! The participants enrolled in the OPAL course will receive an invitation to the kick-off meeting in due time. This will take place on 17.10.2025 at 11:10 am (room: TIL 201). Please enroll in the corresponding OPAL course and check your messages regularly. We will inform you in time about the exact organizational arrangements of the kick-off. |
| Content | The bachelor seminar offers students the opportunity to work on current research topics in the field of industrial management within the framework of a seminar paper. For the preparation of seminar papers and theses at the Chair of Industrial Management, knowledge of LaTeX is required, as taught for example in the seminar Instrumente und Anwendungen des Industriellen Managements. |

The chair provides a LaTeX template via ShareLaTeX as well as a guide for writing scientific papers. Important hints for a thesis are summarized briefly on a handout .
Note on the LaTeX template: The template is provided by the Share-LaTeX service of the ZIH . You have two options for using the template. Either you create a copy of the template in your own Share-LaTeX directory or you download the ZIP archive. Both options are available at the link above under "Menu" (upper left corner).
