Dialogue with society – Application for funding until 30 June

The “TUD in Dialogue” Excellence measure supports projects that are intended to strengthen the eye-to-eye engagement with society. Innovative, modern science communication tailored to the target group can be funded. Both on-site and online events are possible. The funded projects will receive 100,000 euros for material resources.

With "TUD in Dialogue", the university creates spaces for dialogue-oriented knowledge exchange with society. It contributes to public discourse by discussing the urgent questions of our present and future and by developing proposals for solutions. Therefore, issues of societal relevance should be under the spotlight. Moreover, the funded topics and formats should be in line with the strategic goals of the TUD and its university culture – the promotion of democracy, participation, transparency and appreciation.

Anyone planning projects along these lines for 2024 can apply for funding line 1 until June 30, 2023. Funding line 2 is available for smaller and short-term projects planned for this year. This provides financial support of up to 1,000 EUR. The next application deadlines for funding line 2 are June 1, October 1 and December 1.
