FGMU's research activities focus on process-oriented analyzes to investigate the requirements, concepts and effects of the strategies for change management and zero-defect quality (Six Sigma). In the focus of all scientific and practice-oriented analyzes and implementation concepts are cause-and-effect relationships, designed and depicted in value drivers - success factors - value generators.
Research area
Market-oriented corporate management receives its high and current status in science and practice through the holistic investigation and analysis approach, the networking of different content building blocks for different groups of actors and the fulfillment of increasing demands on the adaptability and competitiveness of the company by the quantitative and qualitative output and outcome orientation as central impact factors.
Internally, companies focus on these requirements and desired success factors through strategically and operationally consistent design and implementation concepts for the resources in the company. These concepts include in particular, the fields of restructuring, value-oriented corporate management and organizational development as well as personnel development and in addition to that requirements for planning and control as well as organization and project management. The focus is thus on a research into the success factors that is directed towards the outside and the inside.
The optimization of the company's success aims to fulfil the criteria of quality, time, costs and innovation. As a result, for example, there is a need to offer products of higher quality, in less time, at lower costs and with more attractive prices as well as continuous improvement routines on the market. To control the success a workable and IT-supported design with slim Balanced Score Cards and current dashboards in real-time requirement is suitable. In this way, market-oriented corporate management becomes an applied strategic marketing concept and an operative and direct implementation of zero-defect quality with the goal of business excellence.
