Maren Kählig studied BA/MA in healthcare management, with a specialization in occupational health management, at the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz. After graduating, she joined the Asklepios management program. In 2021 she returned to Saxony after 2 years of training at the Asklepios Clinic Harburg and the Asklepios Clinic St. Georg in Hambourg. Here, she recently worked as a clinic manager and advisor to the regional management as well as operational manager of the Asklepios Verwaltungs- und Managementgesellschaft in Saxony.

In the research group Digital Health, she is interested in the patient-centered networking of health care stakeholders across sectors, as well as health care research with innovative and evidence-based methods and strategies.
