Maren Kählig studied Health Care Management at the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz and brings extensive experience in hospital management to her academic work.
Her research focuses on patient-centered and cross-sectoral networking of healthcare stakeholders. She is engaged in the structured analysis of complex care processes as well as in the development and implementation of digitally supported care models.
Substantively, she works on projects in stroke care and multiple sclerosis care, as well as in the field of digital habit formation. Her work particularly emphasizes health services research, implementation strategies, and the practical transfer of scientific findings into existing healthcare systems.
Another key area of her work is the conceptual design and co-development of interdisciplinary research proposals, as well as the structured coordination of collaborative research projects within internal project management.
