Liquid Handler System
Our automation platform consists of a Beckman liquid handler integrated with a centrifuge and two plate readers. The system is designed to conduct microbial growth and in vivo membrane biophysical assays, allowing us to characterize how cells adapt their membranes to varying conditions.
Parallel Bioreactor System
With our bioreactor system we can run four independent cultivation experiments. Parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature and cell density can be monitored and individually adjusted according to the application. Flow-through procedures enable us to conduct long-term experiments, e.g. to study the metabolism of organisms under changing conditions.
