Access & Costs
All Technologies and services offered by the CMCB Tech Platform can be used by internal and external CMCB users for a usage fee.
The new booking and accounting tool ReCoN is currently being introduced at TUD. The Light Microscopy Core Facility (LMF), as well as the Electron Microscopy (EM) and Histology Core Facility, can currently be booked and administered through the new system. The other CMCB Core Facilities and services (like the Flow Cytometry Core Facility (FACS), Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Core Facility) will be stepwise transferred to the new tool, currently they can be still be booked via the existing Booking System.
Prior to first use, it is necessary to meet the admission requirements, sign the usage regulations and the declaration accepting the costs. For bookings via the new ReCoN this step is processed within the system. However, interested users which need to register and book via the booking system are asked to contact the CMCB TP accounting team or the Core Facility staff directly. Estimates for services can also be obtained there.

The calculation of the usage fee is in accordance with the calculation regulations of the Technische Universität Dresden. For billing purposes, the booking times or services used are generally summarized in lists and on a monthly or quarterly basis invoiced to the user.
