Technology Enhanced Teaching Labs
At the Center for Open Digital Innovation and Participation, Technology Enhanced Teaching Labs (TET-Lab) are being created in which (future) digital usage scenarios in the area of classroom design and teaching are to be tested.
In the TET-Labs, media production in the area of audio and video as well as the testing of how digital media can support everyday school and teaching life in the future is possible. Findings can already be profitably incorporated into the project „Unterrichten mit digitalen Medien in Sachsen“ (Teaching with Digital Media in Saxony), but can also be sustainably transferred to other contexts.
Lab: audio recording and immersive Media
Purpose:
- Sound booth to produce audio sequences and podcast
- for learning content for listening
- for the integration of learning into leisure time
- VR technologies
- for learning content delivered via VR (smartphone and cardboard; VR glasses)
- for general application scenarios

Lab: videoproduction and streaming
Purpose:
- Educational video production

- for virtual exchange with target group
- for recording live streaming

- Fully equipped workstation incl. authoring software
- Video camera and mobile green screen for mobile and flexible use outside the lab as well
Lab: teaching, collaboration and interaction
Purpose:
- Cooperative and collaborative work
- For joint development of scenarios, joint idea generation and (virtual) discussion rounds with the target group
- Supported by technology for cooperative and collaborative work
- Mobile video production workstation
- Flexible, adaptable furniture for different group sizes
- Space for multiplier training

- Interactive laser projector, touch screen/desk, tablets.
